About Unity NDT

Unity NDT was founded by Duane Coulthard, an internationally experienced NDT supervisor with a career spent inspecting assets across mining, oil and gas, and heavy industry.
Our story
In 2019 Duane founded A.I. Inspection, a Roma-based NDT company built on the belief that a commercial inspection business could also open doors for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Over the following years it grew into a NATA and IRATA accredited provider serving clients across Queensland and New South Wales, and became Supply Nation certified.
After successfully selling A.I. Inspection, Duane started Unity NDT to take that idea further: a for-profit social enterprise where high-quality inspection and community impact are built into the business model from day one.
The name says what we believe. Good outcomes happen when industry, community and skilled people work together.
